Bruce has appeared in Featured roles in River City (Forensic Scientist and Flower Seller), Crimewatch (Bus Passenger), and Garrow's Law (Barman and Doctor) on the BBC.
He has been the Party Host (Tesco advert), a mouth and paper delivery person (Sun Newspaper advert), Businessman (Scotrail advert) and part of a promotion for The Scottish Rugby Union and part of a public information campaign photoshoot for Glasgow city Council.
As a Background Artist he has been in films like Sunshine on Leith, Open Doors, Under the Skin, Burke & Hare, Decoy Bride, This September and Mausam.
He has appeared in TV shows like Outlander, River City, Garrow's Law, Lip Service, Pram Face, How Not to Live Your Life, Hope Springs, Personal Affairs and The Old Guys.
As an actor......
Bruce Henderson has played an animated character in a TV advert, The Grim Reaper, a Scientist, a Hunter on the streets of Glasgow, a few Fatherly roles, Business men, Psyciatrist, a Teacher held hostage in Edinburgh, The Pope, a Priest, a Vampire and an assortment of supporting roles.
He has played Dr Alan Grant in an experimental "Jurassic Park" project and Dr Robert Knox in a documentary about the famous Edinburgh murderers, Burke and Hare.
His role as the irritated husband in a short film won an award and his role in "Of Fish & Men" remains a popular short film that can be seen by viewing more of this website.
He wrote and performed a spoof interview with the Roman Emperor Antonine Pius, which took the form of a series of communications between his builders in Scotland and himself from Rome, with questions added by an interviewer.
One of the most difficult things for an actor to do is to voice animation but the Proog character (the older gent) from the animation on this page was still within his range.
